This is a beautiful location near San Gimignano that was centrally located to many other towns in Central Tuscany. The view was absolutely amazing and the parking was just adjacent to the apartment, which was very convenient. It was clean and traditional for the area but lacked modern comforts. The couch, dining chairs and bed were all terribly uncomfortable so don’t plan on spending much time in the apartment. We had to put the linens on our bed ourself and the bed was like sleeping on a boxed spring! One one side a spring was broken, which made it difficult to sleep. The hot water didn’t stay hot for long and the towels were very thin. If you plan on cooking while you’re there, plan to buy virtually everything you’ll need - no salt/pepper, oil or even paper towels were provided. The hosts were very nice and friendly and gave us olive oil and two cups of wine. Eine sehr gute Lage mit toller Aussicht, sehr zu empfehlen.Meiner Tochter und mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. San Gimignano zu Fuss erreichbar. We loved staying at Roberto's place and can't recommend it highly enough. The pictures can't fully capture how beautiful the property is. Sunrise and sunset overlooking the olive groves was spectacular. Roberto went out of his way to provide helpful recommendations and showed us a special walking path through vineyards into the nearby city. His wife gave us a small bottle of their homemade olive oil to sample. This is a perfect location with amazing peace and quiet, but still close enough to nearby cities have easily accessible adventures by car. The house itself is small but a great size for two people. It has all the amenities you could need, and felt appropriately rustic for the environment. On-site laundry was especially useful. We felt incredibly lucky to have booked this place. The location of this farmhouse is perfect for exploring Tuscany. The grounds are beautiful! We enjoyed eating our meals outside and soaking up the beautiful views. The farmhouse does not come stocked with anything like other super host Airbnb’s but the location is beautiful and there’s a grocery store nearby to buy everything you need. We were here for a week and loved our stay. We dined out and also dined at home. With a nearby supermarket and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc., we didn’t want for anything. The pool area is magnificent and was perfect to come back to for a swim and to relax after a day of exploring several beautiful Italian towns.San Gimignano itself is breathtaking and best enjoyed early morning before the hordes of tourists arrive (I know, coming from a tourist that sounds ridiculous). Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche bei Nadia und Roberto in San Gimignano. Die Unterkunft liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Hauptstraße nach San Gimingnano. Zu Fuß erreicht man die wunderschöne Stadt in ca. 15 Minuten. Durch die zentrale Lage sind Ausflüge nach Siena, Florenz und Volterra in relativ kurzer Zeit möglich.Der eigene Garten mit Blick auf die Stadt war sehr schön, die Poolanlage im Garten bei Nadia & Roberto war sehr sauber und gepflegt.Die Unterkunft „Melograno“ auf zwei Etagen ist sehr geräumig und im toskanischen Stil eingerichtet. We had a lovely stay at Roberto’s place. The surrounding scenery and the view of San Gimignano is beautiful. The pool area was great and the private garden/terrace were also perfect for relaxing or having a meal. San Gimignano was a 15 minute uphill walk away which was perfect for us. Beautiful home in the Tuscan hills within 10 min walk to San Gimignano a gorgeous town on the hill. The house was well equipped for cooking and had a private outside spaces and a shared pool. Everywhere had lovely views and the host is friendly and welcoming. Free on sight parking plus a coop nearby too. Lots of wineries and places to see nearby too. Great location. You can relax by the pool or do day trips as you like.
